Chuck Schoolcraft- Camp Director & Ages 12-15 Baseball Coach

Chuck has been the varsity baseball coach at Nashoba Regional High School since 2002. He is very dedicated to helping young players develop. In addition to coaching the high school program, he is a coach at Brigade Baseball where he focuses on pitching lessons, coaching the 11U AAU team and overall player development. His resume includes a Central Mass Sectional Title, Division I State Final and 3-14U New England AAU Championships. Chuck will be coaching the 12-15 year old campers on the big diamond.

Chris Klingenberg- Ages 6-8 Baseball Coach

Chris Klingenberg- Ages 6-8 Baseball Coach

Chris played Varsity baseball and graduated from Hudson High School. He has spent many years as a sports writer for several local newspapers and has maintained his involvement in baseball through coaching. He’s a long-time  JV Coach at Westford Academy in addition to coaching travel baseball teams. Chris is an alumnus of the camp and continues to bring an excellent background along with his love for the game to our summer baseball program.

Emily Sargent- Softball Camp Director

Emily has been a pitching and softball coach since 2017 and loves helping young softball players learn how to pitch, hit, field, and find their love for the game! She grew up in Lancaster, started playing softball at the age of 10, and was a three-year varsity pitcher for Nashoba High School, graduating in 2014. She continued her softball career as a pitcher at the NCAA D1 level at Central Connecticut State University. Emily currently coaches the 16U Newton Panthers summer softball team and coaches private and group softball lessons.

Since graduating from CCSU with a degree in Exercise Science, she has been working as a strength and conditioning coach at the high school level at Newton Country Day School since 2021, and at the college level at Harvard University from 2018-2021. Chuck Schoolcraft, JR- Ages 9-11 Baseball Coach

Chuck expresses his love for baseball through his active participation in coaching youth athletes. Currently, an 11U AAU coach at Brigade Baseball & Baseball Coach at Luther Burbank Middle School. He is known for his engaging personality and creates an enjoyable learning experience for all participants. Whether he is coaching one one-on-one or to a larger group, all young athletes benefit from his ability to relate to players of all skill levels. He’s also active in the Clinton youth basketball leagues, teaching individual skills, teamwork, leadership and competing with high energy and fairness.

Gary Slickman- Administration & Photography

Gary is an accomplished sports and event photographer and is passionate about capturing and celebrating life’s special moments. Over the past camp seasons, his video montages consisting of action portraits of every camper is a highlight. On the last day of each camp session, campers, counselors and parents are all invited to watch these entertaining and emotional presentations that are set to music and shown on a large screen. The photos from last season can also be found on our website and are available as free downloads for all to enjoy.
